I’m a coach. I empower people to be their best selves on a daily basis. It’s my job. It’s my passion. It’s my calling. It’s my jam. And I’m really good at it.
But that doesn’t mean I don’t need a coach. I do. Every coach needs a coach. And it certainly doesn’t mean I don’t need a team because I absolutely positively wouldn’t have the wonderfully fulfilling, crazy, adventure-filled life I have without my team.
Here’s what my team looks like:
I’ve got my triathlon coaches, Marni and Karel Sumbal.
And there’s Audrey, my accountabilabuddy. We talk for at least 5 minutes every weekday to keep each other sane and moving forward in our respective businesses.
There’s Chanelle, my partner in The Athlete Talks. We talk once a week about life, movement and healing.
And then there’s Alison, a fellow performance coach. We talk once a week about goals and energy in our athletic lives and businesses.
And Beth, a fabulously intuitive reiki practitioner keeps my chakras in line and tells me what I’m thinking before I know what I’m thinking.
There’s Gloria, a fantastic mental skills coach who taught me about mindfulness and continues to inspire me on a daily basis.
And Alex, one of my athletes who is also a performance coach, and who is truly amazing at helping me keep things in perspective and calling BS when necessary.
My brilliant chiropractor and acupuncturist keep my body (which is apparently high maintenance like a Ferrari) healthy.
All of my athletes and clients inspire me, teach me and challenge me to grow.
The guys I swim with challenge me when I need it and offer me a draft when I need it.
My amazing Wildhearts and Betty Designs sisters are always there when I need them.
And finally, my husband, who is the best teammate I could ever imagine.
Who’s on your team?
